Statement from Rep. Ed Orcutt on the state revenue forecast
Rep. Ed Orcutt, R-Kalama and member of the Economic and Revenue Forecast Council, released the following statement on the state revenue forecast today:
“The recent good news in the revenue forecast shows that our tax system is raising plenty of money and has more than recovered from short-term drops due to COVID shutdowns. Instead of spending these revenue gains on new programs, it is most definitely time to provide real tax relief – especially in the form of property tax relief for struggling homeowners and employers.”
